The BID Quality Award

The Presentation of the BID Quality Award involves a program that recognizes standards of excellence. The call to participate includes all the different business sectors encompassed in many sectors. The BID Quality Award recognizes the achievements of individuals who form teams of professionals that create and maintain outstanding companies, institutions and organizations.

The BID Quality Award allows companies, institutions and organizations, from all market sectors, with national or international operations the opportunity to incorporate a quality seal recognizing professional prestige. It becomes an endorsement for quality for any organization in their commitment to achieve excellence, increase productivity and pursue continuous improvement.

To include all sectors, BID proposes candidates based on the values of the seven criteria that contribute to the successful implementation of Quality Culture:

Each application will be judged based on quality standards and excellence.

The BID Quality Award is presented to companies and organizations that represent the pinnacle of achievement in quality standards for business or institutional activity.

Companies may choose to apply for the BID Quality Award in different sectors.


Candidates for the BID Quality Award are chosen following the selection process described in the statutes and regulations of the award. Additionally any company, organization or institution interested in Quality Models, Managerial Quality Practice, Continuous Improvement, Life-long training and the pursuit of excellence can opt to present themselves as candidates for any BID Quality Award, considering they fulfill the corresponding requirements.
